Golden Fried Pork Belly With General Tso’s Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • Pork Belly, skin-on 1-2 lbs
  • Chicken Stock 1 Cup
  • Sugar 8 tbsp
  • White Vinegar 8 tbsp
  • Hoisin Sauce 4 tbsp
  • Pure Sesame Oil 4 tbsp
  • Cornstarch 4 tbsp
  • Asian Ginger Paste 4 tbsp
  • Garlic Sauce 4 tbsp
  • Lawry's Chicken & Poultry Rub (Garlic, Rosemary, Sea Salt, Onion) 1 cup

This recipe makes a Fried Crispy Pork Belly with a Mouth Watering Dipping Sauce.

General Tso’s Dipping Sauce Instructions

  • In a sauce pan under a medium flame add
  • 1 Cup Chicken Stock.
  • 4 tbsp Asian Ginger Paste.
  • 4 tbsp Garlic Sauce.
  • 4 tbsp Hoisin Sauce.
  • 4 tbsp Pure Sesame.
  • 4 tbsp Pure Sesame Oil.
  • 4 tsp Cornstarch.
  • 8 tbsp White Vinegar.
  • Mix everything till it dissolves.
  • Add 8 tbsp sugar and stir to it dissolves.
  • Bring the sauce pan to a boil and stir till the sauce thickens.
  • Once it thickens remove from heat and set to the side.

Deep Frying instructions

  1. Preheat Oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees.
  2. Pork Belly, skin-on – Cut pork into about 1 1/2 inch squares.
  3. Add 2 Cups of All Purpose Flour to a bowl
  4. Add 1 Cup of Lawry’s Chicken & Poultry Rub
  5. Mix them both together.
  6. In a separate bowl scramble 4 large eggs.
  7. Dip the cut pork into the eggs.
  8. Remove and add to the flour mix for breading.
  9. Add pork pieces to oil and let fry for 25 mins & Golden Brown.
  10. Serve with General Tso’s Sauce and Enjoy.
