- Blood Orange Zest 2 large
- salt to taste
- sugar 1 cup
- lavender honey 1 cup
- ginger, powder 2 TBSP
- water 2 cups
- Combine zest, salt and water in a medium pot on medium.
- cook until the liquid comes to a boil.
- strain out the zest and reserve liquid in pot.
- add in honey and sugar and ginger.
- Reduce liquid by 1/2 on low.
- This glaze is done when it is as thick as syrup.
This glaze is best served with ham, chicken or duck.
